AI Panel Policy
Effective date: July 1, 2026 · Version 1.0
1. What the AI panel is
The AI panel is an experimental chat sidebar in the browser. It is not a finished product: there is currently no in-app UI for entering the API key it requires, conversation is held in memory only, and the "streaming" output is simulated over a non-streaming request.
2. Where prompts go
The panel sends your prompts to the Groq API using a key that is read from the browser's internal store. Prompts are not stored, synced, or retained by Kairon after the conversation.
3. Model training
Kairon does not use your prompts or page content to train AI models.
4. Privacy caveats
Anything you type into the panel is sent to a third-party AI provider and is subject to that provider's data practices. Do not enter sensitive information. If you do not want prompts sent to a third party, do not use the panel.
5. Turning it off
The panel is collapsed or closed from the browser UI. Because it requires a manually provisioned API key, it does nothing by default.
